In 2021, Editorial Paidós published in Spanish a book by the English economist Noreena Hertz , called “The Century of Solitude”, despite its somewhat poetic title, it is a solid economic and social pragmatic analysis of the repercussions of this phenomenon that it encompasses both the emotional pain that we call loneliness and the fragmentation of the community.
